staying at mortons manor was such a treat! it's a stunning historic building that's just a stone's throw away from the steam railway line to swanage. the staff were really attentive and polite, making the experience even better. breakfast was a highlight, especially the incredible scrambled eggs and mushrooms. the view from our stone-mullioned window, overlooking the village, was just perfect.

Mortons Manor is a feast for the senses! The restaurant dished out quality culinary delights that felt like a local treasure hunt, with splendid breakfast options featuring home-made goodies. The upgrade to the hotel is a dream, all tasteful decor and a beautiful terrace to unwind. Plus, you can pop over to The Pink Goat and National Trust Tea Room for more local flavors!
Our room, while comfy, was as bright as a cave, squeezed between the chicken coop and kitchen hustle—yikes! The noise and heat made it feel like a sauna. a mini fridge would’ve been a sweet cherry on top for cold drinks. Just a bit of tidying up needed on those details, that's all.
